Finally getting a chance to really dig into this and make our own standards, RegExp might make my head explode but I'm getting there
The uppercase check is great but can I create exceptions for it? For example 2x4, I don't want the x capitalized, also there are email addresses on the cover sheet, I don't want those fixed either

Keep going with the RegExp, they are quite powerful (and post back if you have any questions using it or getting a syntax to work)!
So the UPPERCASE check question, in version 1 we are able to filter these out if they are a "individual" notes, not very likely in your case. Right now being able to filter out exceptions contained anywhere in the body of the note(s) has been added to the feature request list for the next version as an enhancement.
