Autodesk Education Master Suite 2011
The Autodesk® Education Master Suite 2011 helps prepare tomorrow’s design professionals. With an extensive set of 2D and 3D software, the suite enables students to pursue a multidisciplinary approach to design and engineering education.
Education Master Suite: Benefits
- Enables students to move easily between 2D and 3D design environments to design, visualize, and simulate their projects.
- Helps teachers integrate Autodesk technology into the classroom with interactive exercises, modular projects, and lesson slides that emphasize design concepts instead of software.
- Offers teaching resources for educators and learning resources for students, software for personal use, and discussion forums—all free* and accessible through the Autodesk Education Community.
Education Master Suite: Products
The Autodesk Education Master Suite allows access to Autodesk® Alias® Automotive software via grant.
Teaching Resources
Integrate Autodesk technology in your classroom with free* teaching resources and lesson plans from the Autodesk Education Community. By joining the community, educators gain access to a wide range of materials, including curricula, interactive exercises, and modular projects. These resources support design basics, architecture and engineering, sustainable design, industrial design, and games and animation.
The following titles are examples of curricula that support engineering education with the Education Master Suite:
- Autodesk® Sustainable Design Curriculum — explores Building Information Modeling (BIM) methods and tools for teaching the integrated practice of sustainable design.
- Autodesk® Conceptual Design Curriculum — teaches students how to achieve design goals by using various modeling techniques; promotes conceptual design using 3 concepts: formal exploration, iterative design, and component-based systems.
- Autodesk® Civil Engineering Curriculum — uses AutoCAD® Civil 3D® software to facilitate a deeper understanding of engineering design and analysis, as well as sustainable design, while helping students communicate design intent.
- Autodesk® Inventor® Education Curriculum — supports teaching 3D mechanical design concepts with an emphasis on workflow.
- Autodesk® Formula Car Design Curriculum — enables students to create, assemble, analyze, and simulate a digital prototype of a Formula car with Autodesk® Inventor® software.
- Autodesk® Alias® Curriculum — covers the basic principles of industrial design and the production of concept models using Autodesk® Alias® design software.
