Avatech Vault Backup

Out of the box, Vault’s backup tools are relatively basic from an IT management perspective. IT managers need to be able to easily schedule backups, keep a pre-determined number of backups, and be advised if the backups are working correctly.

Avatech's Vault Backup provides a simple interface for setting up a scheduled backup. It controls the backup, informing the administrator by e-mail every time if the backup ran successfully, sending specific diagnostic e-mails in the case of failures. The successful e-mails include information about the size of the backup, free space and fragmentation on the backup drive. The application can also limit the number of backups which are kept.
